Manuscripts and Their Role in Enhancing the Intellectual and Moral Development of Children

Participants of the Persidangan Antarabangsa Manuskrip Islam 2025 had the opportunity to attend a presentation entitled “Manuskrip dan Peranannya dalam Meningkatkan Perkembangan Intelektual dan Moral Kanak-Kanak.”
The presentation was delivered by Yang Mulia Dr. Nezar Mahmud Kasem Alsheikh, Director of Dar al-Nasa’im li Nashri wa Tauzi, Jeddah, at the Dewan Auditorium Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah this afternoon.
Present as the guest of honour was Yang Mulia Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Acting Minister of Religious Affairs. The program began with the recitation of Surah al-Fatihah and a prayer led by Yang Mulia Saufi bin Haji Suhaini, Pegawai Pemantau, Pejabat Hal Ehwal Masjid, Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Participants also had the opportunity to ask questions following the presentation during a Q&A session with Yang Mulia Dr. Nezar. YM Dr. Nezar is a distinguished researcher in the field of Sirah Nabawiyyah and has produced over 30 publications on the history of the life of Prophet Muhammad SAW, using a combined approach of academic and practical research.
He is also actively involved in conferences related to fiqh, syariah judiciary, and dakwah, as well as in the development of exhibitions and digital initiatives related to sirah. He is the first figure to introduce the use of digital links in the dissemination of sirah knowledge.
In addition, he has expertise in the use of computer technology for academic writing and education purposes and holds several international certifications in information technology.
